​​Casas do Mondego - Turismo Rural e de Natureza, Lda.
In the Mondego Valley, in the historic center of the village of Porto da Carne, in the municipality of Guarda, close to the river of the same name, are located the Casas do Mondego. The Casas do Mondego are made up of three country houses and reception, with access via the Pátio dos Cubos. Common to all of them is the Patio das Oliveiras, where, in addition to the shade of olive trees, you can enjoy the tranquility of the environment and the always pleasant chirping of birds. Through the color and name of each house, it was intended to lead the visitor to associate them with the corresponding agricultural activity/product, predominant in the region:
- Casa da Oliveira: olive oil, olive harvest
- Casa da Videira: wine, harvest
- Casa do Mondego: game species, contact with nature, honey, beekeeping
Next to the river beach of Vale do Mondego, a few meters away, there is a reserved space that can be used by the occupants of the houses, thus allowing full enjoyment of the surrounding natural space.
